Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of hangkeihong.shop (the “Site”) and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by Hangji Hong International Trading Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Hong Kong SAR.

By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. If you are under that age, you may only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

You confirm that the information you provide at checkout is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method you select.

2. Products, descriptions and images

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions and construction details. Please note:

  • Colour may render differently depending on your screen, calibration and lighting. We photograph products under consistent studio light, but a caramel bag on a phone screen is not the same as a caramel bag in daylight.
  • Dimensions are measured by hand. Allow a tolerance of approximately 1–2 cm.
  • Materials are described as they are. Where a product uses a vegan or synthetic leather, the listing says so and it is not described as animal leather. Where a product has a suede-look or raffia-look finish, that is stated.
  • We may correct errors in descriptions, pricing or availability, and may refuse or cancel an order placed on the basis of an obvious error, with a full refund.

3. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. A contract forms when we send you an order confirmation email after payment is authorised.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

  • the product is out of stock or withdrawn;
  • the price or description contained an obvious error;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • we suspect fraud, resale abuse, or a breach of these Terms.

If we cancel, we refund any amount already taken in full, using the original payment method.

4. Pricing, currency and taxes

  • All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any import duties or taxes levied at destination, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
  • Prices may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout.
  • Where sales tax, VAT or similar is collected by us, it is shown as a separate line at checkout.
  • Where duty or import tax is charged by your customs authority, it is your responsibility. See our Shipping Policy.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details. By submitting payment information you authorise the charge for the order total, including shipping and any applicable tax.

If a payment is reversed, charged back, or fails after the order has shipped, we may suspend your account, recover the goods or invoice you for the amount owed.

6. Shipping, risk and title

Shipping timelines, carriers and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Title passes on receipt of full payment. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within the window stated in the Shipping Policy and we will investigate with the carrier.

7. Returns and refunds

Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out the 14-day return window, the condition goods must be in, and how refunds are processed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at huangyouwei509@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used for fraudulent activity, or is used to harass our staff.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy or systematically extract content from the Site without written permission;
  • attempt to access the Site, its servers, or any connected system without permission;
  • upload harmful software or interfere with the Site’s operation;
  • use the Site to break any applicable law;
  • resell products in a way that misrepresents them as your own brand, or that removes or alters our labelling and packaging in a misleading way;
  • submit false, abusive or defamatory content in reviews or messages.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, product photography, illustrations, the HKHONG name and logo, layout and code — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view, download and print pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use our content commercially without written permission.

Product photographs may be used by press and bloggers for editorial coverage of our products, provided the Site is credited and the images are not altered.

11. User content

If you submit a review, photograph or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt that content on the Site and in marketing, with attribution where practical. You confirm you own the content or have permission to grant this licence.

We may remove any user content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Site is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.
  • Our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your infringement of a third party’s rights.

14. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Following such a link is at your own risk.

15. Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; the “Last updated” date shows the current version, and material changes will be notified on the Site before they take effect.

Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time the order was placed.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hong Kong SAR have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection right you have in your country of residence.

17. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between us regarding the Site.
